Homelab Infrastructure

Mini PCs & Servers

  • Primary Servers: AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G, 32gb RAM Mini PCs
  • Networking: TP-Link Managed switches for VLANs

Virtualization & Containers

  • Containers: Docker with custom written nodejs services that manage containers
  • CI/CD: Self-hosted GitHub Actions runners

Development Environment

  • Primary Workstation: Custom built desktop with Ryzen 7 2700X, 32gb RAM, RTX 1070 Ti
  • Laptop: ThinkPad p16s, Debian with i3wm
  • Displays: Dual monitors (2k, 1080p) for code and documentation
  • Input: Pok3r 60% Mechanical keyboard
  • Storage: Too many HHD/SSDs to list

Software & Tools

  • Operating System: Debian 12+ on servers, Windows/WSL for development, MacOS.
  • Code Editor: Visual Studio Code
  • Terminal: Windows Terminal with PowerShell and Bash, urxvt on Linux
  • Version Control: Git with GitHub integration
  • API Testing: Postman for API development and testing

Video Production

  • Camera: BMPCC 6k Pro, Sony A7 III for high-quality video
  • Lenses: Cannon EF 50mm f.12, EF 16-35mm f2.8, EF-s 17-55mm f2.8, EF 70-300mm f4-5.6, old Nikkor lenses as well.
  • Audio: AKG C214, Sennheiser MKE600, Comica BoomX-D Pro

Editing & Streaming

  • Video Editing: DaVinci Resolve for color grading and editing
  • Screen Recording: OBS Studio for demonstrations
  • Graphics: Photoshop for thumbnails and visual assets
